The need for the Villages

There is an unfulfilled need in the hearts of many Christians to do the work of the Lord and to aid in the preaching of the gospel all over the world, just as Christ commanded.   Yet, the need often goes unfulfilled.   They are asking, "How can we do this?   There's not enough time.   Some of us have two jobs or must put in long hours and still there is not enough money to help others, much less get along financially."

But the Bible tells us, "My dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."   And the work of Christian evangelization and Christian charity is becoming more difficult and the need more urgent than ever before.

The Bible offers a solution: "Come forth from them and be separate," says the Lord, "then I will receive you and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me."   What would it be like to be a part of a community of Christians specially enabled to live lives more focused on God's work?   And, what would it be like to live with your family in a Village specifically designed to enable Christians to live simpler lives so as to concentrate more fully on the kingdom of God?   City of God Villages will be developed to address this need.
