Electronic Door Lock and Security System

Electronic door locks have finally taking their rightful place in the lockset industry.   Product Research Associates has developed a unique concept that takes the product out of the crowded market of me-too keyless-locks and offers advanced security features for the concerned homeowner, worried about a burglar kicking open the door.   It will be easy to install without degrading the security strength of the door, and there are no wires between the keypad and control module and no battery in the keypad (a patentable feature).   We are seeking a client interested in the combined consumer electronic lock and home security markets.   Patent disclosure document has been completed. &nbs; Click on image to view slide presentation.

Expandable Hose Accessory/Feeder

Product Research Associates is seeking a Lawn & Garden manufacturer to license, develop and market this device, an accessory for the popular expandable hose (Pocket Hose).   When finished watering, the user will be able to pulse the trigger on the nozzle on and off twice, with which the hose will automatically retract back toward the faucet while the water in the hose collects into a special container at the faucet.   Further, when the hose is used again, the water in the special container will be entrained with the water passing through the hose and out of the nozzle.   It will also be possible, therefore, to add L&G chemicals to the special container so that the user could, for example, fertilize his/her plants while they are being watered.

Mosquito Eliminator

Mosquitoes are "popular" again, with the infestation of the Zika Mosquito in Florida.   PRA's product research engineer researched means to attract mosquitoes, purchasing thousands of mosquitoes from a Madison, Wisconsin, laboratory.   He demonstrated that bug lights, without a means to attract mosquitoes, did not reduce the surrounding population.   Mosquitoes are not phototropic, i.e., not attracted to light.   What they are attracted to is the heat, carbon dioxide and water vapor produced by humans.   Product Research Associates has created a product concept that will deliver the three components, closely matching that of the human, and kill the mosquitoes it traps.   We are seeking a Lawn & Garden manufacturer to license, develop and market the product.

Hydroponic Appliance

Product Research Associates has taken an interest in the broadening market for this product.   Research has shown that the appliance, about the size of a two-door refrigerator, would be capable of growing enough vegetables to feed a family of three two meals each week.   A large-format plastic injection molder could produce the product economically.   We are seeking a client in the lawn & garden field having large format molding capabilities.   There are novel features to the developed concept which we believe the average family will appreciate.   The market is flooded with expensive grow cabinets.   We believe this new concept will deliver a price within the average family's budget.
